The Faculty of Education's Institute for Post-School Studies has a rich history of engaging with the key issues facing South African post-school education and training, and offers innovative, research-based teacher education programmes and excellent postgraduate degree programmes in education and training. The Institute for Post-School Studies offers courses in Adult and Community Education and Training (ACET), Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Higher Education Studies. Our teaching and research interests cut across these three interrelated domains of study, with the majority of our teaching provision at postgraduate level.
