The Law Clinic within the Faculty of Law, accredited with the Legal Practice Council, seeks to employ an Administrative Assistant. We currently seek a self-motivated, committed, competent, suitably qualified individual to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will assist with all Departmental administrative procedures, in order to ensure alignment and compliance with central administrative systems and procedures.
Reporting to the Director: Law Clinic, the appointee will be responsible for assisting with:
• Academic Administration; • Reception Duties; • Enquiry Management; • Marketing & Recruitment; • Meeting Administration; • Human Resources Administration;
Consequently you will need: • Senior Certificate with at least 2 years’ administrative experience; • Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel / MS Office Suites / Power Point; • Administrative experience in a Higher Education environment as well as knowledge of student administration systems would be advantageous.
Competencies required: • Demonstrated communicative, organisational and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, and to adhere to and meet strict deadlines; • Ability to work without supervision and to pay attention to detail
